Some numbers:
There were 11 weekends in the season
It was dry on only 3 of them
There were 80 games in the regular season
We got in 77 of them
A total of 661 goals were scored
We had 3 playoff games go into overtime
The playoffs got backed up a little bit but it ended up kind of neat. There was more activity and more people at the rinks on the last weekend then we usually have. The Senior and Juniors finals went on Saturday while the Mites fought it out in their Round Robin. On Sunday, the Midget semi-final games went first followed by their championship. Hockey-wise, it was a great end to a great season.
It almost makes us forget about the hours spent drying rinks...... almost.
Congratulations to our newest Stanley Man winners and to everyone that played.
'Junior' Division Raptors Coach Dave Mazik
'Senior' Division Bulldogs Coach Paul Murray
Midget Division Devils Coach Ben Cattano
We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving, a great holiday season and a new year that includes a lot more hockey!
We'll see you in the spring.
!!!! ATOMS/MITES !!!!
We're always looking for additional players in these
divisions. Tell your friends, bring them to the rinks
or have them call the Hotline.
In any sport you should always play hard but remember what
Coach Neal always says,
"Let's Keep It Fun Out There!!!
COACHES!!!!
The Kidsafe website is the place to start for township required background checks.
PARENTS!!!!
It's also the place to check to see that your child's coaches in any league or club have been approved.

Remember that we are always dependent on the condition of the
rinks and the weather in the south part of Howell. Any rain has to
stop and the surface has to be dry.
If it's questionable and you don't hear from your coach or
team parent, check the Hotline - 886-8855.
